What is it like to work with Luna Studio?
You work with one designer from your first meeting to handover. Guo Lun starts with how you live, draws the instructions for every trade before any work begins, prices your renovation line by line, and personally oversees the site, sending you a private progress video every week. Your first meet-up is free, and he comes to you.

Before anything is priced, the floor plan is reworked around your routines, furniture and door swings. We look for the most useful change, not the most demolition.

A beautiful design only comes to life if every trade knows exactly what to build. Guo Lun, formally trained in technical drawing at LASALLE College of the Arts, draws the instructions for each trade himself, so the people on site build from clear dimensions, materials and details. The whole home takes shape on paper first.

Each trade receives its own detail layout plan, and your carpenter receives scaled elevations of every built-in, inside and out.
Finished before work starts.
Site works begin only once the drawings are complete, so decisions are made calmly on paper, not under pressure on site.

Clear about
cost.
You see what every dollar is for, before you commit.
Cost is what worries most homeowners, so Luna Studio puts it on paper from the very beginning. Your quotation is itemised, with the quantity, specification and price of every item, so you can check it yourself and decide with confidence.

Every line has a quantity, a specification and a price. Carpentry is priced per item with its dimensions, finish and hardware.
Upgrades you can see.
Items you have not chosen yet carry an allowance, for example tiles per square foot, so an upgrade shows up as a visible difference on paper.
Marked on the drawing.
Every electrical point is marked as existing, new, shifted or converted, so the quotation reflects the work actually being done.
Progress payments follow milestones on site, from confirmation to handover, so you always know what the next payment is for.

Guo Lun takes on three projects at a time so that every home gets his full attention. He listens to your brief, draws your home, supervises the site and does the handover walk-through with you, so nothing is lost between the design and the build.

A weekly plan and a weekly video.
You receive a written week-by-week schedule before works begin, and a private progress video from Guo Lun every week.
Still there afterwards.
At handover you walk through the home together, and defects are rectified before your keys are returned. Workmanship carries a 12-month warranty, and Guo Lun still advises on upkeep.

Working with Luna Studio: common questions
How does Luna Studio work?
Guo Lun, the founder, personally runs every project. He plans your layout around how you live, prices it in an itemised quotation, draws a detail layout plan for every trade and elevations for every built-in, then oversees site works and handover. Site works start only after the drawings are finished.
Is the first meet-up free?
Yes. Every meeting before you award the project is free, with no obligation. The first meet-up takes 1 to 1.5 hours, and Guo Lun travels to you: your home, your site, a supplier, a mall or near your office. If you can, send your empty floor plan beforehand.
Who will I deal with during my project?
Guo Lun, the founder, from your first meet-up to handover. He draws your home, signs every drawing sheet, sends your weekly progress video and walks through the finished home with you. You can message him directly on WhatsApp. Luna Studio takes on three projects at a time.
When does site work start?
Only after every drawing is finished. Design, drawings and approvals come first, often while you wait for your keys, and your home is measured on site once keys are collected. Site works then usually take 8 to 14 weeks, depending on the scope of works.
How will I know how my renovation is going?
Before works start you receive a written week-by-week schedule, which is reviewed every week. Guo Lun sends you a private progress video every week, you can message him directly on WhatsApp, and you meet on site at key milestones.
