Been a year since we started working with Guolun to plan, organise and project manage our first home! Time flies since moving in end of November and we have thoroughly enjoyed living in our home.
Despite the challenges of the Covid period, our fickle decision changes (actually mine) and very specific needs in terms of durability, ease of maintenance, Guolun very calmly and confidently guided us from start to finish of the reno. Some of my decisions I think I should’ve asked for more advice 😅 but all in all money well spent having an ID to oversee ALL the major works in the house. Thanks Guolun for your services 😊

My wife and I had consultations with several IDs but Chan Guo Lun stood out immediately from the rest for his attentiveness and depth of knowledge. I clearly had too many unrealistic or expensive ideas at the start, but Guo Lun was extremely patient in explaining and counter-proposing solutions that I now see make the most sense. Besides his courteous manners and attentive service, I am also very pleased with the workmanship. My wife and I had a hand in the final selection of tiles, paints or finishings, but Guo Lun made sure that everything looked cohesive together. Thinking back about our journey, we are amazed how everything has come together with little trouble or worry for us. We are also happy to be proved right that Guo Lun is an extremely reliable gentleman, despite his young looks or soft-spokenness which people may perceive to be inexperience. He is very prompt in replying messages, even for my questions or request for minor touch-ups after the project has been completed. Despite COVID-19 putting the brakes on our renovation for 3 months, I am thankful to Guo Lun for his frequent updates and assurances at that time. With his effort and the expertise, they were able finish the renovations to our expectations with minimal delay after the circuit breaker. It must have taken a huge effort to expedite approvals for our renovation to continue as well as to source for manpower or materials that were lacking nation-wide. Thank you very much, Guo Lun!

Like most home owners, we shortlisted and met up with at least 7-8 interior designers via Qanvast to design our dream home, months before we got the keys. One particular designer, Chan Guo Lun, stood out because he was the ONLY one who listened and understood what we needed in our new place - a functional yet cosy home. His quote was slightly steeper compared to the rest, but we were glad we stick by him, for it was pretty much a hassle free renovation journey for us. Though initially apprehensive at his lack of experience (ours was a major overhaul of an almost 20 year old house), but he put us at ease from the moment we signed the contract. Though a young chap, yet always courteous, responsive to our whatapps even at wee hours, punctual for ALL our appointments, accommodating to our busy schedules and requests, calm at handling unexpected situations, patient (he spent many days and hours with us running through the house design till we are satisfied, and at the tile shop selecting the tiles), creative and most importantly responsible. Even our door vendor was impressed with him (Guo Lun spent hours at the shop combing through books of catalogs to select our doors colour for us late in the night). He was an excellent project manager on site. He was super organized, and gave us clear timelines on when we needed to deliver the built in kitchen appliances, toiletries, etc. The house was handed over to us on time and he walked through every part of the house and noted down the defects/changes that we highlighted. Even the after sales service was fantastic. Systematically, he arranged for electricians/carpenters/painters to come up to our place at our convenience to fix the defects, after we have settled in. Frankly we have heard horror stories about house renovations that went awry, and we counted our blessings to have found someone whom we trusted, and entrusted our entire house reno to, not to mention on a 3 months tight deadline (with the CNY break in between). Hence we would strongly recommend Guo Lun to prospective home owners who want a hassle free yet creative design for their house.

Had my 10 year old home patched up recently. Assigned ID was with GuoLun, an insanely tall and good looking young man. So i thought, "OK this guy looks young and trendy, but can he do the work?" I just put my confidence in this young man and left the work to him. And not just the work. Left my entire house to GuoLun i did. I was to be on vacation with the family, and thought it would be the best time to have the renovation work done without us being in the house. The site-visits and pre-preparations were planned at my convenience. Questions were asked and clarified to ensure he knew what I wanted done. Visits to the bathroom and kitchen accessory shops were neatly organized . Even before the start of the work, my confidence in this young man grew. Eventually GuoLun presented the schedule to me, stating the work would be done by the time i returned in two weeks. On vacation i went, and i checked my CCTV cameras on occasions. On every of these occasions, I see GuoLun working diligently with the different specialists, and him checking personally on various spots of the home. Upon my return, GuoLun met me and my family at the door and went through every single item in a checklist he made with me, bringing and showing me and the missus where and what was done. I was thoroughly pleased with the work as was my son, who entrusted his beloved fish tank to GuoLun's care during our absence. The fishes were looking healthier, water was cleaner and they had new food. We loved the work that he has done for our place, and loved the ID Chan Guo Lun for his dedication and spontaneity. And did i also mention - that our fish loved him too. :-) Thank you Guo Lun, Love the work.
